Prey was the first game my dad ever introduced me to. He said it was unlike anything he’d ever played, and when I finally got my hands on it, I understood why. The gravity-defying puzzles, the haunting music, and that weird spirit-walking thing-all of it stuck with me, just like he did. Dad always said, 'Life is like a spirit walk. Sometimes you’re here, sometimes you’re... somewhere else.' I never really understood what he meant until he passed away. Now, every time I play Prey, I feel like I’m reconnecting with him on some cosmic level-like he’s guiding me through the alien corridors of existence. He used to joke that he’d be just as bad at shooting aliens as Tommy was at making life decisions. I miss those jokes. Thanks for the memories, old fart. Rest in peace, space cowboy.

It’s crazy how many people finished this game in the 2020’s 😭 I honestly love it cuz i finished this game WAY earlier then that, almost a decade and felt the exact same way how ya felt when ya finished the game.

Remember playing this when it was released on my aging pc, run quite smoothly considering all the graphical goodies. I remeber quite vividly not being that excited about it at first from the previews and trailers and then I played through it in one sitting and I was over the moon with the whole game, incredible experience, I definitely miss these kind of games nowadays its all about soulless open world that are empty these days. I loved the game so much i even got the pretty collectors edition, still is sitting on my top shelf after almost 20 years.

I remember playing this the first time in 2010 and a couple times after. Always waited for a sequel and wanted to learn more about that alien race the protagonist allied with. And then, for a brief moment, there was hope when the sequel was announced by Bethesda. But Domasi did not make it into the final game of 2017.

Just finished the game in 2023. I never played the game as a kid, but was always interested in it here and there. I finally got the chance to play through it, and absolutely loved it. At first I was worried the game was just gonna be yet another idtech engine tech-demo, but No way, man. This game has an amazing story, atmosphere, soundtrack, and writing. I loved the characters, they were so compelling. I was also really happy to be able to play a game based around native-american culture, I feel like that kind of thing is just Extremely uncommon in games, and she be done more. Loved this game, glad I got finally was able to enjoy it ♥

Prey’s end game credits is so epic to hear with the after midnight project’s original version of take me home. I do enjoy playing the original prey because it lets me focus on the story with its puzzles & has art bell himself. What a masterpiece prey is & a awesome shooter that I played.

This was an amazing game, the 360 was awesome when it came out so many new unique titles. I bought another one just to play Prey, Quake 4 and NFSMW since they never made them backwards comp.

The host kicked me and everyone else after the game because my parter killed him. He even kicked everyone that joined.
